RUN TO WALLACIA HOTEL - SUNDAY 18 NOVEMBER 2018

WALLACIA HOTEL

The Wallacia Hotel was built in the 1930’s by the banks of the Nepean River at Wallacia.   Its Tudor Style architecture has made it a distinctive destination in western Sydney for generations.

Our plan is to meet at the Bathurst Street Parking Area bounded by Bathurst, Northumberland and Elizabeth Streets, Liverpool (free parking on Sundays) at 10:30 am for 11:30 am departure.  The car park is across the road from St Lukes Anglican Church, which is the oldest Protestant church in Australia and a product of Francis Greenway’s architectural expertise.

Coffee/tea/breakfast/cake at a nearby cafe and then off down Elizabeth Drive to Luddenham and then on to Wallacia.  This is a run from Liverpool to Wallacia of about 18 miles (29kms).   We will have a pub lunch at Wallacia with some light entertainment provided by the hotel.

Please let me know if you can make it by Wednesday 14 November so I can book a table – Paul Johnson 0402 628242.
