Kurnell Run - Sunday 28 October 2018

We warmly invite you to join us on our 'Kurnell Run'  on Sunday 28 October 2018. Details are as follows:

HOCA does not often have club runs close to the inner city (and Tempe is pretty close).  Our runs tend to be more in the outskirts of Sydney or the Central Coast or Illawarra which often makes it difficult for inner city members to attend.

This run will start at Harry’s Cafe de Wheels on the Princes Highway (eastern side) between Station and Bay Streets and before the Cooks River when heading south.   A cuppa here and then to Ramsgate for a photo stop at Botany Bay before heading over  the Captain Cook Bridge at Taren Point to the Kamay Botany Bay National Park at Kurnell which includes the landing place in 1770 of then Lieutenant James Cook.

Bring a picnic lunch or walk to a nearby shop for some lunch. Come along and enjoy Hillman camaraderie by the Bay.   Entry to the park is $8 – you need to have the correct coins to put in the parking machine – or a credit card.

If you can’t spend the day with us why not drop in for a cuppa and a chat at Harrys or meet us at Kurnell?

Meet Harrys Cafe de Wheels, Tempe at 10.30 for 11am departure.
